This toolkit is developped by SMSL (Suzuka Management Sciences Laboratory), a Japanese laboratory and research specialized in software and hardware development but also data analysis, AI engineering support and technical consulting for the automotive industry.
SMSL is directed by Shogo IDA.
The SMSL package available in RTMaps includes a various components for the software development of ADAS and autonomous driving features. Among them you have components for:
This package for ADAS/AD applications enables users to perform comprehensive pre-processing, including 3D pose estimation and ground segmentation, using LiDAR scanning of point cloud data.
In particular, the imaging and pose estimation functions are tuned for Velodyne and Hesai scanning LiDARs, achieving high-speed processing for real-time applications.
